Not the Baby Anymore

I have a little friend who happens to be 2 years old… and recently became 'not the baby anymore'.

That's a hard thing to go through.

But Claire-kins, we still love you.

This is the kind of session I love. Laughter… face scrunching laughter. Not a bunch of formal posing… just a family interacting and having fun.

Oh, little Harper! Look at that cute dimpled chin (just like her big brother). Such a sweetie girl. And can you believe those eyes?!

I love when I can start to see their parents features reflected in those little faces. And these two are a great blend.

The Morrow Family - Sneak Peek

Today I dodged raindrops (and dog doo, unsuccessfully in my case, ick) with the Morrow family. I've known them for years, but this was my first opportunity to spend any length of time with them all. Oh goodness, this is a fun family.

Fall

I don't think I've ever been as entranced with leaves as I am at the moment.

I spent a little time outside exploring recently. No pressure… just playing with my camera. I attempted to free lens… unsuccessfully. But, I still enjoyed playing in the leaves.

Chrissy and Fidel's 'We Got Married!' Party

Last summer, I had the privilege of photographing Chrissy and Fidel's engagement session.

There is something so intimate about a session where I see two people that love each other fiercely but quietly.

A few months after that memorable session, they surprised me by announcing their elopement! So, they decided to have a 'We Got Married' party and invite their friends.

This party reminded me that celebrating love doesn't have anything to do with yards of tulle… and everything to do with being with your closest friends and family, eating good food and dancing your buns off.

Judah - One Week Old

Alex & Bella

I've known Alex since he was pretty little. It's hard to believe he's already in middle school. Another recent milestone is a little black bundle of energy, Bella, his first puppy.
